Agricultural Products Market Committee, Chimur, Chandrapur District was established in the year 1982 by splitting from Warora Market Committee. The scope of the committee is limited to Chimur taluka and includes 259 villages in the taluka. The organization was founded by the late Gulabrao Ramchandraji Dongre Saheb and he was also the first chairman. The committee actually started its work on 09/11/1982. The committee is currently in “B” category and has been approved by the Hon’ble District Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Chandrapur.
The main market premises of the committee are at Chimur and 3.12 hectare land has been approved by the Hon’ble District Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Chandrapur. Also, 1.16 hectare of land has been purchased at Sub-Market Neri, 1.21 hectare of land at Sub-Market Awar Bhisi and 1.91 hectare of land for Cotton Collection Center Khadsangi. The purchase of this land has been approved by the Hon'ble District Deputy Registrar Cooperative Society Chandrapur.
